Zinc alloy ingot has low melting point, good fluidity, easy fusion welding, brazing and plastic processing, corrosion resistance in the atmosre, and easy recovery and remelting of residual waste; however, it has low creep strength and is easy to cause size change due to natural aging. It can be made by melting, die casting or pressure processing.According to the manufacturing process, it can be divided into cast zinc alloy and deformed zinc alloy. Characteristic:1. Type: There are 2,3,4,5,7 alloys in the traditional die casting zinc alloy, and the most widely used one is 3 zinc alloy. In the 1970s,high aluminum zinc base alloys za-8, ZA-12 and ZA-27 were developed.Zamak 3: good fluidity and mechanical properties.It is applied to castings with low mechanical strength requirements, such as toys, lamps, decorations and some electricalappliances.Zamak 5: good fluidity and good mechanical properties.It is applied to castings with certain mechanical strength requirements, such as auto parts, electromechanical parts, mechanical parts and electrical components.Zamak 2: it is used for mechanical parts with special requirements for mechanical properties, high requirements for hardness, good wear resistance and general requirements for dimensional accuracy.ZA8: it has good impact strength and dimensional stability, but poor fluidity. It can be used in small size, high precision and high mechanical strength parts, such as electrical parts.Superloy: with the best fluidity, it is applied to die-casting thin-walled, large-size, high-precision and complex shapedworkpieces, such as electrical components and boxes.Different zinc alloys have different sical and mechanical properties, which provides a choice space for die casting design.
