Grate Crucible

A crucible is a container used to hold metal for melting in a furnace and it is needed to withstand the extreme temperatures encountered in the process of melting metals. The crucible material must have a much higher melting point than that of the metal being melted and it must have good strength even when white hot.

Grate crucible can withstand the high temperature, and has good resistance to chemical erosions and thermal shock. Especially grate crucible is ideal for the melting of aluminum, copper and other metals.

We supply standard grate crucibles as well as high density grate crucibles.

Bulk density of standard grate crucible: Min.1.72 g/cm3

Bulk density of high purity grate crucible: Min.1.8 g/cm3

We also provide clay grate crucibles and silicon carbide grate crucibles.

We supply grate crucibles as big as Dia.136x35 CM, which is used for our American customer.
