Applications:

1. Used to modify the surface of inorganic fillers such as wollastonite and aluminum trihydroxide.

2. It makes the surface of these inorganic fillers more hydrobic and thus increases their dispersability in

mineral-filled polymers.

3. Especially suited for polymers that are processed at elevated temperatures.

4. Can reduce the viscosity of the polymer melt.
