I. Overview of JTY-GD-2412/24E Point Photoelectric Smoke Smoke Detector

JTY-GD-2412/24E Photoelectric Smoke Detector is a dual-source dual-chamber photo-electric smoke detector using modern modern technology. It can work under the supply voltage of 12V system, especially suitable for security system and detector. After the alarm, a built-in relay can be activated to provide two pairs of normally open and normally closed contacts for interlocking external devices.

The JTY-GD-2412/24E Photoelectric Smoke Detector is designed to provide protection for open areas and must be used with compatible four-wire controllers. The detector's health and sensitivity can be tested in the field.

As a self-locking detector, when the alarm is locked, it must be reset by momentary interruption of the power supply. The JTY-GD-2412/24E photo-electricity smoke detector has a light-emitting diode as the display of the detector. If the detector is energized and in normal monitoring, the LED will flash every 10 seconds. In the alarm state, the LED will lock steady until the detector is reset.

The JTY-GD-2412/24E Photoelectric Smoke Detector contains a pair of normally open contacts (Type A) for connection to the alarm control circuit and a set of normally open/normally closed auxiliary contacts (Type C). Monitoring of the detector power supply is accomplished by installing a power monitoring terminal relay at the end of the detector power circuit. When current is applied to and through the detector, the terminal power monitoring module is powered up and its relay contacts are closed to cause the controller's alarm loop to form a closed series circuit. Once the power is turned off or the detector circuit is disconnected, the terminal module will lose power and the relay contacts will disengage and trigger a fault signal to the controller.
