Breakwater geo-tube

As you may knows that development activities in the vicinity of the shorengside erosion, marine storms and high waves, may lead to destructive effects on buildings, installations

and beaches in close vicinity, even causing their collapse.

Pioneer employs breakwater geotube technology to protect sites at the shorenear the water by erecting a barrier built of breakwater geotube. Breakwater Geotube was made of special PioneerTex high strength PP woven industrial filter fabric , which is able to separate the sand accumulated within them from the water which is filtered out. It can save a lot of cost compared with other retaining wall solutions.

Pioneer designs the placement of geotubes so as to avoid harming facilities on

the shore placing them one after another, creating a wall near the

location to be protected. PioneerTex Breakwater geotube, which was made of the exnt

hydraulic and mechanical attributes of the industrial fabric, is able to cope with complex

challenges posed by marine work, such as erosion, mechanical resistance and resistance to UV

radiation. Pioneer breakwater geotube can be in SAND or Black color.

Installation of Geotube is performed by pumping the water/sand mixture into the

sewn Geo-container.

Breakwater Geotube has several applications in marine work:

Protecting the cliff along the shore from erosion from wave and wind damage

Constructing breakwaters

Constructing artificial islands
