Griseofulvin

Griseofulvin is a natural bacterial product used, in certain formulations, as an oral antibiotic for fungal infections of the skin.1 It alters microtubule dynamics, resulting in metase arrest.2 Antimicrotubule agents, including griseofulvin, have potential applications in cancer therapy, particularly when combined with other chemotherapeutic compounds.3,4
