Three Way Ball Valves have 3 ports. We always call them " T"-port 3 way Ball Valve and "L"-Port 3 Way Ball Valves. The main difference is the ball inside the valve bodies. L port 3 Way Ball Valve's Ball with 2 Holes, T port 3 Way Ball Valve's Ball with 3 Holes. So the direction of water flow will be different between this two type 3 Way Ball Valve.
