Moreover, has your tilapia been purged or placed in dispersion tanks to help eliminate earthy tastes. Alternatively, do you control algae growth to eliminate the earthy taste? Product that has an earthy taste is not desirable and we cannot purchase it if it does have an earthy taste. How long is your tilapia dead before being frozen? How is product frozen and at what temperature is it frozen?
