ComfortDelGro Taxi Business (hereinafter referred to as ‘Client’) invites interested and qualified firms (hereinafter referred to as ‘Solution Provider’) to propose information on possible point-of-sale technology or solution methodologies to cater for the supply and installation of mobile payment terminals for its taxi fleet (hereinafter referred to as ‘Solution’). Currently, our global fleet comprises about 25,000 taxis in Singapore, UK, Australia and China, with majority using Verifone VX 820 VX 680 rated PIN Pads. For the avoidance of doubt, the purpose of this RFI is to solicit potential Solutions which serves to replace or even better-off the existing mobile payment system. Thereafter, the Client shall shortlist the viable Solutions and may further refine its specifications based on the viable Solutions before calling a subsequent tender, before eventually awarding. If the Client’s conditions are met, the products of this RFI may be evolved into viable tender proposals and considered for award. Also, for the avoidance of doubt, the Client is considering installing the Solution in not only Singapore, but overseas as well. We are for equal opportunities. Companies not based in Singapore or does not have any clientele in Singapore are highly encouraged to register their interest as we are very open to overseas technologies or solutioning. EMV L1 & L2 certified g. WiFi 3G 4G LTE Bluetooth 4.2 BLE USB-C connector h. Support AES DUKPT i. PCI PTS 5.x approved j. Colour Touch Screen k. Integrated Thermal Printer l. Connect to Mobile Display Terminal (“MDT”) via a sical connection i.e. oth or other forms m. Form Factor i.e. not bigger than the current size of Verifone VX 820 VX 680 n. Not mandatory to incorporate printer o. Agnostic to soft button or rubber key pad p. Able to withstand the conditions of an automotive environment q.
