We are a company that are looking for an RFID reader bluetooth 4.0+LE that should be able to be attached to the car's dashboard (eg. Velcro attaches with double-sided adhesive tape) and be able to communicate with our electronic driving record unit via Bluetooth. The driver registers his smart card on the reader and the reader confirms success with buzzer Led and sends the information via Bluetooth to our device which forwards smartcard information to our server. The reader should preferably have a battery built in, but an alternative may be with cable to the car's 12 volt system.OBSERVE!! If the reader needs to be charged from the car's 12 volt system it will not work if the wiring comes out on the back of the reader, we do not want to drill a hole in the car´s dashboard. The reader will be attached to the car's dashboard (eg. Velcro attaches with double-sided adhesive tape)1. Battery in the reader is charged with 12 volt from the cars electric system (Requirement) if it don´t have an internal battery that lasts for at least a year. If the reader has a battery that can last at least 1 year, it is not necessary to be able to charge it if you can easily change to a new battery yourself.2. Bluetooth 4.0+LE so the reader can communicate with our electronic driving journal unit (Requirement).3. Preferably we want a reader that has an internal battery that lasts for at least a year (most of the time the reader is in sleep mode, it's only active when registers smart card, 1 or 2 times a day) but if there is no such solution, we can accept a reader that receives its power supply from the car, in that case we preferably want the reader to have an internal battery that supplies the reader when the 12 voltage from the car is disconnected.4. Can handle the most common ID06 cards in Sweden preferably but not a requirement if we can solve it with other chip cards that support ISO IEC 14443 A B standard, Mifare type A B type standard.5. Have a buzzer Led that confirm when you register (Requirement).6. Frequencies of 125 kHz or and 13,56 MHz. we prefer 13,56 (not UHF because we want short reading range 0-10 cm).7. The dimensions of the unit should not be greater than: H 120mm. W 80mm. W 20mm.8. LED that indicates if the battery level is low.We prioritize a low and competitive price.We expect that in year 1 sell about 150-250 readers and then in years 2-5 increase every year 15%.If we are interested, we first want to test 1 or 2 readers before we decide which supplier we should use.If you have products that meet all or most of the requirements requests, please don´t hesitate to come back in with information.Attached are pictures of what such a reader as we are looking for can look like.
