Hello,I hope all is well, I am looking to get a product manufactured similar to the one in the picture included in this message. I would like our version of this product to have a shorter, rectangular-shape, with a magnet similar to the one included in the other image I have linked at the center. My hope is to then have a rubber fixture attached to the bottom of the magnet, and fabric put around the remaining exposed magnet. Our plan is to create a product where charging cables can be placed on top of the fabric side, and be held there by the magnetic force. We are unsure which magnetizing direction or which magnet grade would be required for this and therefore we will need your help on deciding that. The magnet should be strong enough to hold a hone charging cable in place, but not strong enough to make it difficult to take off.We would also like to know which surface plating you would recommend for this product. Our product will be designed for everyday use on a desk, not subject to harsh environments.The magnet we are looking to get is 1 inch in length, 3 inches in width and ⅓ inch in height. (3” x 1” x ⅓”)The final piece of this product that we are looking to get produced is an attachment that can be put on non-magnetic cables in order to make them stick to the magnet. This piece clips around a cable and through the use of a magnet in the clip, allows it to be attached to the magnet stand.
