In 2013, Pinhagem had a new beginning as a group of investors took control of the entire company and it’s management. The company started to operate initially on construction mainly in roads and housing areas. After 2 years of constructing roads and housing areas Pinhagem began massive expansions . In 2015 following the new demands and crisis in Africa the Pinhagem Group began to produce lumber and export to partners in China. In 2016 the demand for Mussivi wood in the entire continent of Asia and some Countries in Europe became enormous. At this time Pinhagem had some of the largest farms with production of Mussivi wood in Africa. This made it very attractive to expand the lumber business in Angola to the world. Pinhagem hired over 200 employees to help local population and also qualified workers that were out of the market. Pinhagem also started to replant new trees of Mussivi all around new farms. In 2017, Pinhagem was well over 300 employees just working with lumber and exporting lumber to China, Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Turkey. In 2018, Pinhagem continues to increase production and replanting besides giving jobs to local population. Pinhagem continues to export some of the best quality wood in the world and has become a world-wide name in its industry.
